As part of a larger garage conversion project, we were tasked with transforming an old backyard shed/storage area into a fully functioning guest bathroom—a smart way to add value and utility without extending the home’s original footprint.
We stripped the shed back to its bones and rebuilt it to meet all the requirements of a modern wet area. This included full waterproofing, new drainage and plumbing, insulation, internal lining, tiling, and quality fittings throughout. The space now includes a toilet, walk-in shower, and custom vanity—compact but highly functional.
Careful planning went into making the bathroom feel connected to the rest of the converted space while still keeping it private and self-contained. Despite its humble beginnings as a storage shed, the finished bathroom feels fresh, practical, and built to last.
It’s a great example of how creative thinking and solid construction can turn a forgotten corner of a property into something genuinely useful.
