This job came to us with detailed designer plans and clear expectations—we were to deliver exactly to spec, no shortcuts. The build was completed in two distinct stages.
In Stage One, we focused on restoring the front of the home—a sandstone-fronted character property that needed to be brought back to its former glory. We reinstated heritage details with care, including new ceilings, detailed cornices, and polished the original timber floors throughout. We also added a walk-in robe and ensuite to the main bedroom, plus a dedicated home office, bringing both function and comfort to the older part of the home.
Stage Two was where the real transformation happened. We carefully removed the back of the house and built a large, high-end rear extension. This included open-plan living, premium finishes, and seamless integration between old and new. The result is a beautifully balanced home—character charm at the front, modern luxury at the back.
The job was a great example of collaboration between builder, designer, and client, and we’re proud of what we delivered.
